Welcome to Ron Nelson's Alley Arts Webpage!
Welcome to the home page for my studio, "Ron Nelson's Alley Arts." I've been an artist in the Tucson area for more than 40 years. My art work is heavily influenced by southwestern design.
I make cast paper pieces which are made almost entirely of recycled materials: shredded newspaper, house paint, and reused pieces of wood for framing. The newspaper is primed, poured into a mold, dried and painted. The result is a painting with an interesting 3-D effect.
